It’s a new week people and can you smell the religious bigotry in the air? Michael Sam, Conchita Wurst, and Arkansas have not only rocked the under garments of American fundamentalist Christians, but most notably they rocked the britches of The Bible Belt!
Republican right-wing conservatives are pissed that when it comes to gays, the NFL set them up! Now their kids were exposed to gay guys kissing and how does one explain gay dudes kissing to the children?! Apparently simply saying they’re gay guys kissing isn’t hate-filled enough!
Not missing a step, Fox “News” got in the mix when they defended Miami Dolphins safety, Don Jones, after he tweeted about Sam’s Kiss ,which sounds like gay porn for the religiously closeted homosexual! Even Donald Trump chimed in saying it was “pretty out there” which is code for HOT! Wait til they find out Sam’s boyfriend is a swimmer with a hot body!
Meanwhile, while bigots were busy bashing on Michael Sam, on the other side of the world, Russian politicians were busy bashing Conchita Wurst. Being classier and showing more restraint than Putin at a zoo bear exhibit, back at home in Austria, Conchita Wurst was lauded as thousands showed up for her homecoming!
Here at home, things return back to normal as Christian hate groups show up to pray against gay marriage in Arkansas. Apparently, to fundamentalists, Jesus equals bash on the gays! We are informed that it is only thru the religious freedom to hate gays that you can ever truly show compassion!
