1) Truancy, 2) Running Away, 3) Incorrigibility, 4) Under-age Drinking and 5) Curfew Violation!
It’s a fucked up system we have where once you just went and saw your school counselor, now you’re being escorted off campus by the cops!
What the article leaves out is that it’s all based upon a for-profit system we have where there’s partnerships now with for-profit counseling centers and for-profit juvenile detention homes and kids and their parents are just pawns in this system.
What this creates is kids having a criminal record and in the long run gives them less opportunity!
